What we check on every roof

  • Starter course bond, shingle nailing pattern, underlayment continuity
  • Penetration seals: plumbing stacks, satellite mounts, attic fans
  • Step & base flashing geometry at walls, dormers, and valleys
  • Deck integrity, soft spots, and hidden sheathing moisture
  • Soffit intake & ridge exhaust balance for proper ventilation

Our process

Clear scope. Tight details. Predictable results.

We design each repair or installation as a complete system—substrate, underlayments, metals, ventilation, and drainage all working together.

Intake & Scheduling

Call, text, or send the form. We ask the right questions, verify address access/parking, and set an arrival window.

Roof Assessment

Moisture meter readings, attic peek if accessible, and a full perimeter/penetration review. You’ll see findings in plain English.

Written Scope

Itemized materials and line-by-line tasks. Transparent allowances if hidden deck issues are discovered when opened.

Work Day

Protection down, materials staged, metals cut on site. We keep walkways open and neighbors happy.

Close-out & Support

Magnet sweep, photo log, and care notes. If a nor’easter tests it the same week, we’ll check back.

Why Corbin

North Shore roofs have a specific rhythm — we build to it.

Salt air, freeze-thaw, and summer sun expose shortcuts. Our crews are tuned to coastal details: hemmed edge metals that don’t slice shingles, kick-outs that actually kick water, and ventilation that keeps attic temps in check without inviting snow.

We show up on time, protect landscaping, and leave the site cleaner than we found it. If wind peels a tab the night after an install, we’re back. No drama.

FAQ

Roof questions we answer every week.

How fast can you respond to an active leak?

Most days we can dispatch a crew same-day for emergency dry-in. Permanent repairs are then scheduled promptly with materials in hand.

Do you match existing shingles?

Yes. We keep color charts on the truck and can order specific profiles to blend repairs. When a perfect match isn’t possible, we’ll advise on the least noticeable transition.

What if you uncover rotten decking?

We photograph, measure, and review before replacing. Deck patching is billed at the pre-agreed allowance so there are no surprise numbers later.

Do you work through winter?

We repair year-round and replace roofs as weather allows. Cold-weather adhesive techniques and heat-assisted sealing are used where required.

Can you help with ventilation issues?

Absolutely. We calculate intake vs. exhaust, add soffit vents, and correct blocked channels so ice dams and heat build-up are reduced.

What areas do you cover?

Swampscott, Marblehead, Salem, Lynn, Nahant, Peabody, and surrounding North Shore towns.
